[11] To fold the head, begin by valley folding downward as shown so that edge XY intersects point Z, which is located at one third the length of edge XW. To do this you will have to hold the top layer of paper slightly back with one finger.
[12] This is how the model should look after completing step 11. Note that the bottom edge of the head is paralell to the bottom edge of the bird. At this point unfold the head back to step 11.
